CATWA just released a new mesh head called Jessica!

Jessica comes with a lot of amazing features: Talk animations, 9 animated expressions (not only available through the HUD but also can be trigger by local chat like gestures), Blink eyes or 4 static eye openings, 3 mouth options, 3 lash options (and several slots to save your own textures), right and left head alphas (to help fit some hairs), hide or show ears, hide or show lashes (separate up and down lashes), 5 neck sizes to fit different shapes and mesh bodies, tintable skin, hair and lashes, eye makeups, blush and lipsticks (with slots to save more textures), several skin presets and a Hairbase HUD compatible with all the Hair Textures from CATWA.

Also you can change the Head Size, the Head Stretch and Head Length of this mesh head. And it comes with a designer kit so skin designers can create appliers for this head! Go here to see the list of designers that are currently working on appliers.

Overall, I was really impressed with some of the features, that are not usual in other mesh heads, like the talk animations (for those who use voice in sl this is a really cool feature), the emotions being able to be triggered by chat like the gestures is another really cool feature, making this head perfect for daily use and not just for photography purposes like some others!
From the fitting point of view i was very happy about it too: i had no problems with the neck (with Maitreya body for example) and the fact that it comes with alphas in the head to help fit with several hair is also awesome!
Another thing that is really exciting is that almost everything in it is customizable and separate (not only skin and makeup, but lashes textures, blush, eyebrows, etc), so i’m thinking this will help skin and cosmetic creators to be very creative with it! I’m really curious to see all kind of appliers for this head! :D
The only thing i don’t love about this head is the nose, because i’m not very fond of upturned noses!! LOL But that’s just a matter of a personal preference and probably (hopefully) will be solved with some different skin appliers! :D

I have tried the head quickly because I’m having limited internet access (not enough to launch SL). While this, I read reviews, like yours, that I’m finding really helpful!
She looks lovely, but as you said, I don’t like the nose as well… I prefer button shaped noses instead haha :o) . But I saw a few appliers WIP on flickr and some of them did a great job with the nose :D
I’m glad to know we can adjust this head to make it wider or rounder :D (I didn’t try it when I tested the head, gonna check this later).

I already got TheSkinnery applier and it looks so cute! The nose looks a lot better for me! YAY :D
